COVID-19 Update

The Safer at Home order was lifted by Outagamie County and the City of Appleton this week. There is still a chance that the State Legislature could enact a new plan. The State Legislature asked for six days to come up with a statewide plan once Supreme Court overturned the Governor’s order. We will wait for this deadline before we finalize our own Back to Church plan.

Here is the good news: WE ARE PLANNING NOW.

We are planning in preparation for our services; assessing congregational attendance, finalizing our safety policy, forming ministry teams, and working with our authorities. We are planning services that will involve a larger group than we were originally planning. We are planning to have worship services with a larger ministry team. We will have multiple services to ensure we are responsible about placing people in proximity to each other. We will also have some safety protocols to protect ourselves and our community.

We know that some of you are disappointed that we are not able to meet this weekend. Although you may see that other churches are back to in-person worship this weekend, please understand that our church community is larger and requires a longer runway than smaller congregations. Our church family has been very patient throughout this process and we are grateful. We look forward to welcoming you back home very soon.
